RESEARCH ON MATERIAL FLOW-STRESS BEHAVIOR AND THE DIE-FORGING PROCESS FOR FORGED-STEEL BRAKE DISCS FOR HIGH-SPEED TRAINS

Due to the large size and complicated features, brake discs of high-speed trains are difficult forge, so a reasonable design process die parameter prerequisites for successful forming. The flow stress 23CrNiMoV, forged-steel disc material trains, was investigated by uniaxial compression experiment on Gleeble 1500 test machine. Based obtained flow-stress data, series numerical simulation analyses forging high-speed-train were carried out using finite-element software. effects temperature, flash groove parameters forming speed filling, load temperature change metal during studied. results optimized better obtained. parameters, completed quality
